The Sabancı University Scholarships offer a range of fully funded and partially funded opportunities for international students to study in Turkey. These scholarships cover tuition, accommodation, transportation, and a living stipend for graduate students. Undergraduate recipients receive a tuition waiver and dorm accommodation, easing the financial burden of their education.

Students interested in pursuing an Undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree at Sabancı University are highly encouraged to apply. The Scholarship Committee evaluates applicants based on their academic background, reference letters, exam results, transcripts, interview performance, and additional achievements such as competition prizes and Olympiad certificates.

Who Can Apply to the 2025 Sabancı University Graduate Scholarship Program?

• Submitted documents undergo an initial screening process.
• Applicants meeting the minimum criteria are invited for a written exam and/or interview.
• The Admission Committee makes the final decision, and selected students are informed accordingly.

Who Can Apply to the 2025 Sabancı University Undergraduate Scholarship Program? 

1. Eligible Applicants:

• International students from any country.
• Turkish citizens who completed their entire high school abroad (excluding TRNC).
• Dual citizens (one being Turkish) who completed high school outside Turkey in a formal education system.
• TRNC citizens who completed secondary education in the GCE AL system.

1. Ineligible Applicants:

• Turkish citizens who completed high school in Turkey or TRNC.
• Dual citizens (one being Turkish) who completed high school in Turkey.
• Those who studied distance education abroad while holding Turkish citizenship.
• Blue Card holders and TRNC citizens who enrolled in Turkish secondary schools after 2022-2023.

1. Accepted Exams/Diplomas:

• Candidates must submit an exam/diploma with a valid score accepted by Sabancı University.
• Applications without an accepted exam/diploma score will not be evaluated.

1. Application Fee & Payment:

• A $30 non-refundable application fee is required.
• Payment must be made online via Visa/Mastercard.
• Applications without a fee payment will not be processed.

1. Quotas & Program Selection:

• Applicants can apply to up to three programs.
• Applying to different faculties increases admission chances.
• Students declare their final major after completing a common first-year program.

Required Documents for the Sabancı University Scholarship Application

Candidates must prepare the following:

• A copy of an accepted exam/diploma result (valid score required)
• High School Diploma (with notarized translation if not in Turkish/English)
• Official transcript (showing all courses & grades, must be officially stamped/e-signed)
• Language proficiency exam score (if available)
• Academic letter of recommendation (if available)

For applicants with secondary education in Turkey:

• Foreign nationals: Residence Permit Copy
• Renounced Turkish citizens: Blue Card Copy or Renouncement Letter
• Naturalized Turkish citizens: Official citizenship document

All documents must be submitted to the Sabancı University Student Resources Unit by the application deadline.
