RESPECT
Respect is a great virtue. Everybody desires to be respected. Most adults see it as their right and expects the younger ones to respect them.
However, it is imperative to note that life is about sowing and reaping. If you don’t value people, people will hardly value you. In the same vein, if you despise people and don’t show regard or respect towards them, they will also replicate the same attitude towards you.
As an elder, leader, or parent, when you support the younger ones, encourage them, motivate them, care for them and respect them, they will naturally respect you and hold you in high esteem.
If you do the opposite, you will definitely reap what you have sown. It is only a demon-infested fellow that will disrespect an elder who has deposited large amounts of respect into their emotional bank account.
Always remember that respect is not demanded. It is earned! And the currency for purchasing respect is simply respect!
