The UAL International Scholarship provides full scholarships to students from developing countries who are pursuing a full-time taught Masters course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2024/2025. This scholarship worth £50,000 covers the cost of tuition fees, and accommodation at one of UAL’s halls of residence and will also contribute towards living costs.

Who is eligible to apply?
To be eligible for the UAL International Scholarship. you must satisfy the following criteria;
- You must hold an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s 6 Colleges starting in 2024/25.
- Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes or MSc qualification.
- You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK or abroad.
- You must be ordinarily resident in one of the low-income economy countries detailed in our list of qualifying countries (see below).
- Evidence such as a copy of your immigration documents, ID card or formal proof of your address must be included as part of your application.
- Your annual household income must be £50,000 or less at the point of application.
- You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application.
UAL International Scholarship Program application process
To apply for the UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should follow the procedures below;
- Apply first for postgraduate admissions at the University of the Arts London
- Once you’ve received an offer on a qualifying course, the ‘my funding’ page on your UAL Applicant portal will be updated to display application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.
- If your application is successful you will be sent an award letter via email and if you want to accept the scholarship you will be required to accept your admission on your UAL Portal.
Note: Applicants to the UAL International Scholarship are also encouraged to apply early. Also note that incomplete applications may not be considered.
