By Omaka Kalu Ngele PhD.
Abstract
Sequel to the outbreak of the Global scourge known and called Covid -19 the world had known no respite. Religious groups had been defensive owning to a lot of factors. The major resistant approach had been anchored on Conspiracy Theory. Government body as umpires in the quise of nibing the menace had taken stringent approach mostly draconic against pastors and religious activities. This paper through phenomenological method of research took a critical investigation on the attitude of the Nigerian Government towards Religious protagonists , who hid under the religious idiocy- conspiracy theory to block government move to control the pandemic.
