Investor Relations Manager

Main Function
The Investor Relations Manager will ensure raising needed funds and wooing financial partnership for the organization towards the execution of various projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend an investment decision.
- Develop an investment policy aligned to the company strategy and an investment criterion for evaluating prospective projects.
- Creating financial models that enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning.
- Preparation of financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments, information memoranda and prospectus.
- Analyzing company accounts and financial projections and advise the company on how to best position its investments.
- Provide updates on financial markets activities in order to right position the company in the local and the global market
- Liaising with fund managers, company managers, stock market traders, stockbrokers and regulators with a view to expanding funding access while improving market perception.
- Conducting market research on the industry and gather market intelligence to enhance management of funds.
- Participating in financial briefing provided by the investment managers and analysts internally and externally.
- Maintain up to date information on the latest economic trend in the country, latest and any updates in the financial markets.
- Ensuring that all investment compliance regulations are met.
- conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data
- Analyzing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organization is positioned to deliver for investors
- Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries
- Considering how the economic implications of factors such as natural disasters, weather and wars might affect the performance of companies and funds
- Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources
- Financial modelling and projection
- Drafting and writing research reports for fund manager or client use
- Meeting with and providing information to fund managers; this might include summaries of research, investment ideas, key events from the proceeding day as well as key drivers for the day ahead
- Making recommendations to fund managers, being able to position ideas and articulate to the fund manager about the risk or payoff for each recommendation
Competencies/Skills
- Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
- Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
- A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
- A professional who is also entrepreneurial, and has a client-minded focus
- Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines
- Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors

Qualifications/Experience
- Proven working experience as an Investors
- Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics
- Excellent investment analysis software user
- Strong numeric skills
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
