The Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution invites
applications for the award of up to two full-time resident fellowships
for policy-oriented post-doctoral research for the 2019-2020 academic
year.
The fellowship carries a stipend of $58,500 USD, payable in
installments over a period of residency at Brookings of no less than
nine months and no more than 12 months. This income is taxable;
Brookings will withhold taxes and report on stipend payments according
to U.S. tax guidelines. The Institution will also provide up to $5,000
USD in expense reimbursements for research-related travel, and other
essential research requirements. Brookings will provide a workspace,
networked desktop computer, an individual network account, and access to
Brookings research resources. Post-Doctoral Research Fellows, and their
immediate families, are eligible to participate in the Institution’s
medical, dental, and vision insurance.
