13 Fidelity Bank customers win N15 million cash prizes
Thirteen customers of Fidelity Bank Plc on Thursday won N15 million in its “Get Alert in Million’’ Promo Reloaded.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 11 lucky bank customers won N1 million each while two customers went home with N2 million grand prizes.
Speaking at the second draw of the promo in Lagos, its Chief Executive, Mr John Okonkwo, said the bank would reward its customers nationwide with N110 million cash and other consolation prizes.
Okonkwo, who was represented by Mrs Chijioke Ugochukwu, the bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services, said the promo aimed at improving the standard of living of its customers nationwide.
““We want to change the lives of our customers and also meet their needs.
“” In this promo, we will give out N110 million to customers within a duration of six months with other consolation prizes,’’ the chief executive said.
NAN reports that the grand prize of N2 million was won by Mr Abdulkadir Isyaku from Benin City, Edo and Mr Miracle Kanayo from Awka, Anambra.
Those who won N1million naira each were: Ezeokafor Felix and Osakwe Franca in Lagos zone; Usman Adamu and Amina Aliyu from North zone; Blessing Chika and Abimbola Yemisi from Abuja Zone.
Others were :Isaac Aringbangba and Michael Agbolaga from South-West; Osita Ezeugwu from South-South; Stephen Ogonna and Akosa Nneka from South-East.
Mrs Amina Aliyu, a housewife from Kaduna, who won N1million, said she was surprised when she received a call from Fidelity Bank informing her that she had won a prize.
Aliyu thanked the bank’s management, saying the prize was a surprise to her.
NAN reports that the draw was witnessed by representatives of National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and Consumers Protection Commission (CPC).
The NLRC representative, Mr Afam Ojeh, said the commission would ensure that all winners in the promo received their winnings.
Some other winners also went home with consolation prizes such as television sets, generators and refridgerators. (NAN)
