The widow of the late Mmegbuanaeze Francis (late House of Assembly
member Representing Idemili North ), who was buried on 26th September,
2017, is running to take over her late husband’s seat under the platform
of the ruling party in the state – APGA.
Sources say many people are shocked by her action as she is yet to
complete the mandatory 6 months of respect for her dead husband,
according to Igbo traditions and norms.
Francis Mmegbuanaeze, the House member representing Idemili North
Constituency died in “his sleep” on August 15th night, hours after
attending the APGA Governorship primaries.
