The Benue State House of Assembly on Tuesday impeached Honourable
Terkimbi Ikyange, a member of the APC, as its speaker. The state
governor had earlier dumped the APC.
He was impeached after a
motion of no confidence was moved by Honourable Richard Ujege
representing Konshisha state constituency.
The impeachment was backed by 21 out of the 30-man assembly.

He obtained his B.Sc, Msc and Ph.D Degrees from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Local Economic Development (SLED) from Erasmus University, Rotterdam Netherlands.
