Purpose

We are looking for a Program Manager to help us build our community of tech talents, start-ups, co-working hub users and assist in managing our strategic programs.

This role is a combination of operations and business development.

About the Role

As a Program Associate, you will work flexibly across 3 major areas including business development, operations, and community management.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and implementing events such as Masterclasses with thought leaders for our community.
• Scouting for top firms and organizations hiring digitally skilled talent, and inviting them to our open house programs.
• Manage our programs while creating connections between them and our participants.
• Develop new programs that can attract tertiary students who are tech enthusiasts, tech talents, and strategic academic stakeholders to support the strategic direction of the organization.
• Write funding proposals to aid programs delivery and support our community.
• Working with a small team in achieving overarching goals.
• Writing reports.More importantly, because this is an early-stage start-up, you will be an appropriate candidate if our vision inspires you and you love taking on new challenges as they come while growing in the process.

Who we are

• You have prior experience designing and successfully implementing programs.
• You are an outgoing person who enjoys facilitating events and building relationships.
• You are organized and pay attention to detail because of the high-level people you will communicate with on regular basis.
• You are familiar with working with the latest work tools like Asana, Google sheets, and CRM.
• You are focused and self-motivated as you follow through with plans and convert goals into actionable plans, which you execute with little or no supervision.
• You take initiatives and are passionate about building forward-thinking and empathetic communities where everyone feels valued.
